Dr. Andrew Ferguson Joins Raleigh General Hospital

Raleigh General Hospital today announced that Andrew Ferguson, DPM, AACFAS, has joined its staff and will be offering podiatry services to patients in Beckley and the surrounding region at Raleigh Total Foot and Ankle of Beckley.

Dr. Ferguson joins the practice following advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle deformity correction at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. He completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with a credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at the New Mexico Veterans Affairs, where he also served as chief resident.

Dr. Ferguson specializes in foot and ankle trauma, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, pediatric foot and ankle care, plantar fasciitis, bone and joint infections, arthritis and deformities.

He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University in Iowa and holds bachelor’s degrees in Exercise and Sports Science and Psychology from Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. 

Dr. Ferguson has also participated in research focused on plantar fasciitis and other foot and ankle conditions and has presented at professional conferences, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Scientific Conference.
