Emergency Room and Prompt Care

Raleigh General Hospital treats nearly fifty thousand patients every year in our Emergency Department.

We received our trama center designation in 1998, and as the healthcare leader in southern West Virginia, our nurses are required to maintain certification in TNCC, ACLS and PALS.

Our Emergency Room contains 30 patient beds and treatment areas, six of which are used for Prompt Care.
